Ingredients

  • 1 ripe avocado

  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk (or coconut milk for creamier texture)

  • 1/2 cup fresh spinach leaves (or baby kale for more nutrients)

  • 1/2 small cucumber, peeled and chopped

  • 1-2 tbsp freshly squeezed lime juice (adjust to taste)

  • 1-2 tsp powdered erythritol or your preferred keto-friendly sweetener (optional)

  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract (optional, for added flavor)

  • 1/2 cup ice cubes (optional, for a chilled shake)

  • 1 scoop unflavored or vanilla whey protein powder (optional, for keto-friendly protein boost)

  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Prepare the avocado:
    Cut the avocado in half, remove the pit, and scoop the flesh into a blender.

  2. Add greens & cucumber:
    Add the fresh spinach leaves and chopped cucumber. These give your shake a vibrant green color and a nutrient boost.

  3. Add liquids & flavorings:
    Pour in the almond milk, lime juice, vanilla extract (if using), and sweetener. A pinch of salt enhances the flavor and balances the sweetness.

  4. Optional protein boost:
    If you want a filling meal replacement, add 1 scoop of keto-friendly protein powder.

  5. Blend until smooth:
    Blend on high for 30–60 seconds until creamy and smooth. The avocado will give the shake a thick, silky texture.

  7. Taste & adjust:
